TURBOCAM Offering Machine Operator Boot Camp 2016

TURBOCAM International is offering a Machining Boot Camp 2016. This is a fully paid 6-week machine operator training course. Candidates will be selected for the Boot Camp following an interview selection process at the end of April. The Boot Camp starts on May 16, giving those chosen a chance to give a notice if needed.

The Boot Camp will be intense, so only serious candidates should apply. Participants who graduate from this program will be offered a full-time job at TURBOCAM with tremendous career and advancement opportunities. While in classroom training, you will be working on first shift. Following the classroom training, you must be willing to work any shift to accommodate staffing needs. See below for the hours of each shift:

  • 1st Shift: 7 a.m.–3 p.m.
  • 2nd Shift: 3–11 p.m.
  • 3rd Shift: 11 p.m.–7 a.m.

Inside the TURBOCAM Education Center“Our recent graduates came onboard together and received almost one year of training in just eight weeks,” said Marcus Mann, Coordinator of Employee Growth & Development. “This approach gave the new operators solid basic skills. The initial results are very positive.”

Classes will be held at the TURBOCAM Education Center in Rochester. Some of the classes to be offered include Machining I, GD&T, Basic and Advanced Measuring, Blueprint Reading, Math, SPC, and 5S.
