TURBOCAM UK Employees Participate in Trailwalker 2016

TURBOCAM UK Employees Participated in Trailwalker 2016On Saturday, July 23, four TURBOCAM UK employees tested their mental and physical strength by taking on the Trailwalker 2016, a 100-kilometer walk (roughly 62 miles) across the South Downs Way. The average completion time for this event is approximately 27 hours, but, TURBOCAM’s team finished it in 19 hours and 42 minutes!

Mandie Taylor spoke with us before the event about TURBOCAM’s involvement. “This will be the second time we had a TURBOCAM team,” she said. “The last time TURBOCAM entered a team was three years ago.”

The 2016 team consisted of employees Neil Lightfoot, Terry Ayling, Peter Lasham and Rob Arnett. “This year,” Taylor continued, “the TURBOCAM giving committee pledged to match any money they raised up to the value of £1,500.00 (equivalent to around $1,974). All the money raised goes to charity.”
